Charity Auction

On Friday 8 July the kiwifruit industry and Parliamentary rugby and netball teams will go head-to-head at Te Puke’s Murray Salt Stadium to raise funds for the kiwifruit industry’s Recognised Seasonal Employer Scheme (RSE) workers and their families.

Funds raised will be distributed by an RSE support fund administered by New Zealand Kiwifruit Growers Incorporated, allocated to support projects in Pacific communities. 

Tractors for Tonga and Village to Village Charitable Trust, two  charities working to improve the lives of communities in the Pacific where many of the kiwifruit industry’s RSE workers are from have been chosen to be recipients of a portion of the funds raised.

Location: Murray Salt Stadium, Te Puke Sports Club
Time: Doors open 6.30pm
Auction commences: 7.30pm
Auction concludes: 8.30pm approx
Clubrooms close: 10.30pm

Attendance at the Auction includes light catering and access to a cash bar

Absentee Bids
Bidders will be guided through the auction by Auctioneers Grant Child and Jordan Sievwright, from Eves, ensuring a professional and transparent process whilst keeping things lively!

We are accepting Absentee Bids on all auction items.
To place an Absentee Bid please email your bid directly to grant.child@realtygroup.co.nz or jordan.sievwright@eves.co.nz including the following information:

  • Bidders Name
  • Contact Phone Number
  • Item Name 
  • Bid amount
  • Method of payment (credit card and bank deposit available)

All Absentee Bids will be completely confidential and held by the auctioneer in a sealed envelope. Bids will be opened at the start of the relevant item and placed by the auctioneer on your behalf throughout the bidding process.
